Are there disadvantages to using uPVC?

uPVC frames are more flexible than aluminium and therefore aren’t recommended in very large sizes (>2.2m) or in high-rise buildings without adding additional support. For larger windows, sliding windows, and mulled windows, additional fiberglass supports are used within the uPVC frame chambers to provide extra support while still maintaining superb thermal efficiency.
